Electro-Shock Anyone??

It's Saturday morning.  Suppose to be the first morning of Mel's vacation, yet he is working.  I am home with the kiddos again and in charge of entertaining them for the next 10 hours during a record breaking heat wave.  To say that we are getting a little bored would be an understatement!

At any rate the morning has been interesting thus far.  Will managed to get ahold of the gummy vitamins and fill up a seven day pill box with them.  He then proceded to eat the whole weeks worth.  By 8 I was on the phone with my pharmacy friend making sure he wasn't going to keel over from an overdose.

We dodged that bullet thankfully and took the dog out for a bathroom break.  I knew she didn't have her electric collar on, but she never crosses the line so I figured we were OK.  Wrong!  She took off after a walker so I followed down the street in my pajama pants like a crazy woman.  Darn dog. Went in to look for the collar and couldn't find it anywhere.  That's when Will says he thinks he might have had it but he can't remember where he put it.  Eventually we find it in his room to which I ask why on earth would it be in your room?  He replies: "I was just trying it on mom."  Perfectly normal thing to do right? I mean who doesn't want to try on an electro-shock collar? 

So that's been our morning so far and it's just after 10 AM.  Geez what does the day have in store from here?

In happier news school starts Aug. 4th 1/2 day and full day for Hannah Aug 8th!  Will doesn't start Kindergarten for another few weeks because they have a long phase in program but within a month they will both be in school full time ;)  Yippee!  What on Earth will I do with myself?
